Great Concert
Boston Philharmonic was excellent. I've been a fan for a long time, and this was my first Boston Philharmonic concert. The music was great--very good sound. He was very enthusiastic, and obviously he was having a good time playing to the audience. The band was great.
We parked almost a mile away. The concert started before we got to the stadium. It took us almost TWO HOURS to drive 2 1/2 miles on Harlem Avenue. The only downside, and a BIG downside, to this concert was the location. Police traffic-directing was NON-EXISTENT. Getting to the venue was a nightmare. I don't really blame Boston Philharmonic or the promoters, but the idiot suburban police. I won't go to another concert at Toyota Park. Just horrendous.
